Professional knowledge develops and crystallizes through a process of constant learning. This process occurs in a variety of settings, including (1) participation in activities whose objective is to enhance the understanding of bodies of content and teaching processes, and (2) encounters among colleagues that are characterized by reciprocal learning.
MOFET contributes to the development of professional knowledge and to the establishment of learning communities by means of diverse and up-to-date study settings. The need to reach out to educators and teacher trainers throughout the world and the desire to share knowledge have prompted MOFET to create platforms and frameworks for encounters among colleagues that facilitate both face-to-face and distance learning.
These settings enable teachers from all over the world to meet with and learn from experts, share knowledge and exchange opinions, present methods and tools that have been developed, and much more.
