Educational Use and Integration of Technology in Education​​

Dr. Deutsch (Ed.D) is a Canadian with a doctorate in education leadership specializing in curriculum and instruction. She combines education technology, mindfulness, and learning by teaching as a way to engage learners. She is internationally known as a relationship-based coach, mentor, consultant, researcher, author, speaker, and community builder, as well as an expert in educational technology for fully online and blended learning programs using Moodle, WizIQ, Google drive,and active learning presentation tools that focus on teaching as a way to learn.
Her speaking engagements include technology for instruction and learning, collaborative learning, mindfulness, self-compassion, and authenticity. She organizes MOOCs, free online conferences, webinars, and courses for educators worldwide. She has been teaching English as a Foreign Language in high school and higher education for 35 years.​​

Dr. Glick is a research affiliate at the University of California, Irvine working with Prof. Mark Warschauer in the Digital Learning Lab. Danny’s research focuses on the relationship between learning processes and outcomes in online, blended and synchronous-enhanced learning environments.
Danny is an educational researcher, learning technologist and CALL implementation specialist with nearly two decades of global experience in planning, designing, implementing and evaluating small- and large-scale technology-enhanced programs for the K-12 market, academic institutions, government agencies and organizations in both developing and developed countries. Since 2004, he has worked as the Director of Pedagogy and Research at Edusoft, a subsidiary of Educational Testing Services (ETS) that develops blended and distance learning English as a Foreign Language programs for ministries of education, universities, corporations, private language schools, and K-12 schools around the world, reaching millions of students in more than 30 countries. Currently Dr. Glick is the pedagogical director and PI of a national technology-enhanced language program taken by over 600,000 public school students in Peru.
He is a frequent keynote speaker and reviewer for leading educational technology research journals. Dr. Glick’s research interests include but not limited to learning effectiveness in technology-enhanced learning environments, dropout prevention algorithms, game-based learning, and MOOCs.

Dr. Greenberg
 holds a Ph.D. degree in Information Science from the Department of Information Science at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. She works as a reference and IT librarian at the University of Haifa’s Younes and Soraya Nazarian Library in Israel. She has been a qualified lecturer in information science and technology for the last 15 years, and is also employed as a teacher at the Western Galilee Academic College. She is a member of the editorial board of Israel’s journal of information science, Meidaat, a special consultant for the Ministry of Education’s Electronic Books Project, and a winner of the Finkler Award for special research in information science.
Mrs. Greenberg has published articles in English and in Hebrew in peer-reviewed journals. Her main research interests include information behavior, information search, digital log analysis, academic libraries, and students’ information needs.​​

Mr. Hurvitz
holds a Master’s degree in Computers and Communications in Education from the School of Education of Tel Aviv University. From the mid-1990’s he has taken part in many of Israel’s first internet-based learning projects, including developing some of the first courses for the Aviv Virtual School. Throughout the decade of 1999 – 2009 he served in the Department of Elementary Education of the Ministry of Education as the “resident expert” on learning with the internet. He is a didactic advisor for the development of online courses at the Institute for Online Learning at Achva College of Education, and trains teacher educators in the Information and Communications Technologies Professional Specialization two-year program at The MOFET Institute. He blogs extensively on issues dealing with internet in the learning process on his Hebrew blog.

David Lachmish is an instructional designer with a constructionist outlook on life. He has studied law, mathematics, and philosophy. He specializes in implementing learning processes in software and structuralized processes. Mr. Lachmish creates wizards for instructional design, spends most of his time in decadent urban environments, and enjoys urban life.

Rabbi Pittinsky
holds a Bachelor’s degree, Semicha and 2 Master’s degrees in Medieval Jewish History and Education from Yeshiva University. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Graduate School of Education and Administration. He is the Director of Educational Technology at the Frisch School in Paramus, NJ. He is an educational consultant for Gemara Berura, a technology enhanced methodology for teaching Talmud and is also a Smart Board Certified Teacher Trainer.

Dr Schrire holds a PhD in Computing Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University in the United States and a second PhD in English Literature from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. She was a pioneer in the integration of computers in teaching and learning into the mainstream school system in Israel, where she worked for twenty years. Since the early 1990s, she has pursued a career in teacher education at the Kibbutzim College of Education.  Between 1991 and 2005, she was involved in the development of materials for online learning at the Israel Center for Educational Technology, where she headed various important internet-based projects. She subsequently served as an active member of a multinational team, representing the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in an innovative EU project, “KP Lab”, which focused on the advancement of knowledge practices in the digital age.
Courses:
Talila Yehiel graduated from the Ceramic Design Department at Bezalel Academy of Art. She also holds a Master’s degree from the History of Art Department at Tel Aviv University. She has extensive experience in teaching pupils at all levels as well as in mentoring teachers.
Her academic background, which integrates the material world, the creative process, and the world of research, furnishes her with tools that afford profound insight and a rich diversity of working strategies.
Ms Yehiel has been involved in the creation of special tailor-made sites for museum visits, a project called “Learning Based on Location – thewandering”. She has tried it out on various groups of students and adults. Wandering around an exhibition hall by means of this site gets people involved and encourages them to interact with the exhibits. 
Ms Yehiel has used her mobile platform all over the country with science teachers and high-school English teachers as well as with students, and has taught them how to create their own “thewandering” sites.​​​
